The month of F E B U A R Y has skipped away

The month of F E B R U A R Y has skipped away, leaving us still with Winter…but knowing that the third month of the year is leading us forward…

WHAT HAVE WE BEEN UP TO?

The very first day of the month, A-O-K hosted a Book Club event and it was fun to discuss Literature while surrounded by…ART on the walls.

The next couple of weeks saw the A–0–K artists

busy in their ateliers trying to stay warm while being creative too!!

The middle of the month brought us V A L E N T I N E S DAY

Jennifer went to Geneva to celebrate (that was where she was married...!)

I was pleased to find sun again and bright skies until the fickly Winter Weather changed rapidly there too…

Great fun visiting the myriad of A R T G A L L E R I E S to be found wandering the streets of GENEVA. From the area around Plainpalais to the winding narrow pathways of the Old Town.

The P A S T E L S exhibit, from the 16th century to the present day at the Hermitage in Lausanne was a delight for the eyes and the wall-sized painting prepared especially for the exhibit by the young Swiss artist, Nicolas Party was a treat too.

A weekend trip to Les Diablerets was next on the agenda…

And then finally… back to Warsaw and the last of the preparations (begun before the trip) to prepare our latest SHOW:

It was fun collaborating with Michele from Veronel art+people who showed work from the Thai artists Panupong Tantiyothin and Popkapi.

And we introduced the work of Pakistani artist and Konstancin resident, Marukh Shah to the public eye.

So, once again, all in all – another B U S Y month!!

Greetings and Salutations to M A R C H.
